Outraged by the mass reduction of dedicated animal staff at Mayhew to make way for higher paid top bosses who clearly don't have a clue. Animals are clearly not their priority. 

It's a sad fact in today's times that higher paid CEO's and its governing body like a trustee network make such drastic damaging decisions when concepts have not been thought through thoroughly enough. Impacting on everyone involved, in this case the dedicated staff and the animals. The CEO and Trustees need to be made accountable for their damaging actions. 

I would offer any support I can to ensure we do not have another animal rescue closure or for one so proactive, innovative and compassionate to become substandard. We need to support and promote animal welfare professionals in the industry, reject this corporate mentality and remind everyone the main focus and priority should be on helping animals and educating people about animal welfare.
