This action is important to myself and other members of the residence, as we feel that due to our high rent that we deserve incentives specifically such as, free laundry to compensate. I mean, even though other local laundry services that are available, are more expensive than the prices we are given within the residence, as high paying rent students with rents ranging between £136ppw - £146ppw, laundry may aswell be included as part of our rent. Many residences have complained that as a result, they are just washing their clothes once they go back home and that there are feelings of being 'robbed'. I mean this is incovnenient for everyone. So surely, the residences team of Mayflower objective may be to provide us the best student experience in halls, and one way of doing this is by considering at least one of the main issues which are raised by the residents, providing a free laundry service.
