Maximum Sentence for Wesley Davis

The Issue

The Sevier County Community was deeply saddened by the loss of sweet 2-year old Ava on March 4, 2025. This beautiful baby girl, who should have had a long life ahead of her filled with abundant love and happiness, was brutally ripped away from her family and loved ones. The man responsible for this horrendous loss, Wesley Davis, is currently facing a charge of Murder in the First-Degree. This is a peaceful petition requesting for Wesley Davis to receive the most serious punishment allowed by our laws. His crimes were intentional and gruesome, during the incident he had countless opportunities to stop the abuse and call for help, he allowed Ava’s health to decline until there was no chance of survival. He did not feel remorse for his actions, if he had he would have stopped long before her injuries reached this scale. Baby Ava deserves justice, her family deserves justice. Allow this case to be our first step towards change, there is no punishment that is harsh enough for crimes against children, Ava’s story can aid others and promote a change in the severity of consequences. Stop allowing these violent offenders to be released back into the community.
