The MRI has opened up a can of worms. I had a CT Scan in a portable unit on the grounds of the Royal, where I was injected with a blue dye. The next scan was an Ultra Scan at Houghton le Spring, Primary care. I had to go to The Freeman hospital at Newcastle for a PET-CT by Alliance Medical.This time, I was given a radioactive tracer,wait one hour and then go onto the scanner, that is worth millions of pounds. With this scan, I had to keep away from children and pregnant women. Yesterday was my next scan called a Nuclear Medicine Scan,this took place at Medical Physics, Sunderland Royal Hospital. I was injected with a radioactive tracer but not as powerful as my PET Scan,then I had to wait three hours before going onto the scanner. Now I only have to see Dr. Murphy next week about my lungs. Yet another worthless cheque from GARY YOUNG.
