The Firework situation is getting worse every year & poses harm to our Pets & Livestock that run in fear of the noise often times becoming injured by the barbed wire of their corals. Pets that run away are often hit by cars, & careless people mishandling Fireworks pose a very real danger of Brush Fires. This is especially true of Upcountry where it is dry & surrounded by large meadows.

   We all know that these Fireworks start a week before any actual holiday & linger well past the holidays. They are often times Random & middle of the night events which are against the law. 

   This is why we are petitioning our County council to set some amicable boundaries for those who enjoy Fireworks by designating public parks with supervision where families can enjoy the noise & fire with others while keeping our neighborhood & animals safe from harm. 

   There is Allot of hostility on this topic by those who have no respect for the Law nor their neighbors, therefor the laws pertaining to those who break it would have to be enforced by fines of $2,000. This would greatly reduce the likelihood of random events in our Neighborhoods, giving the majority of us peace of mind, safety for our Pets,Livestock, & property.
