Ferret lovers in California (and those who wish to move or visit here) having been trying for years to find a legislative sponsor for our ferret legalization bill.

It’s not that there is much opposition to legalizing ferrets - but legislators don't want to involve themselves in what many see as a silly or frivolous issue.

But it isn't that way to us.  Ferrets are part of the family.  It would be an empty household indeed without their joyful antics.

We have taken notice of your pro-freedom and pro-rights platform.  We hope you will include us in your agenda.  We'd dearly love to have this issue receive the attention it deserves to move forward.
