Hello folks. As we look forward hopefully to retuning to reasonably normal lives I thought I would just remind people of the continuing need to help our NHS by reducing the waste of medicines and mobility equipment. This petition is more of a public awareness campaign because there is no need for a government debate or radical change in the law for it to be effective. It just needs all of us to be careful with what we receive, to help the elderly and chronically ill to manage their medication, for Care Homes to be more mindful of waste and for us to share this dialogue with family and friends. As I mentioned previously, there is a poster in one of my earlier updates which can be downloaded and passed to Pharmacies, Care Homes, private individuals etc., to give them tips on how to successfully make savings. I am pleased to say that I am personally receiving quite a few enquiries about recycling mobility equipment. Every little helps and it is in our power to make this happen.
