i have posted this example of waste on Face Book but want to make sure my co-campaigners read about it as well. My husband has had one of his meds changed. I went to the Pharmacy yesterday to collect his meds, which are on repeat prescription, but asked the counter assistant to show me what she would be asking the pharmacist to dispense. Turned out they had received the prescription for the new med but they had not had notification of cancellation of the old one. SO if I had not checked I would have walked out with a bag containing his old meds as well which would then have to be returned and destroyed. I would welcome posts about the various experiences of waste you have come across. We can all inform each other even if the relevant authorities can't be bothered to act.
