All the Thomas The Tank Engine fans young and old who are out there, im sure you have seen or heard about the seemingly bad reboot of Thomas & Friends. The reason this is a bad reboot/series is because it looks too much like the modern cartoons e.g. Paw Patrol or Cocomelon and it just has no difference to other cartoons. Also, in 1984, Christopher Awdry created Thomas And Friends to look relatively realistic and therefore would stand out among the other TV Shows. To support the fact that he did NOT want it to be a cartoon, in the initial style guides, it says not to make it a cartoon.

For the people who still are not convinced, i recommend you go look at Troublesome Junctions' video on youtube about it or, you can continue to read. Another reason why it is a bad series/reboot is because Mattel Television manages to put Thomas into all these weird scenarios that just wouldn't happen if it wasn't a cartoon because again, Christopher Awdry never wanted it to be a cartoon because it would be too unrealistic and wanted to keep the franchise to be as realistic as possible, which is why he designed the show as if it was a model railway.

In conclusion, to fix this and return the franchise to its former glory, i think that Mattel Television should NOT publish the Animated 2D Thomas & Friends TV Show and publish more realistic versions of it, or even carry on the model railway type theme which, personally i think they should do, but that's for you to decide!
