Ever After High has recently done a reboot, which most people are not happy with. The dolls have lower quality, and fans are mostly not interested anymore including myself. The old dolls had a lot of detail, earrings, stands, bracelets, necklaces, real fabric tights and leggings, nice quality clothing and soft hair. The new dolls on the other hand, don't have most accessories, and sometimes the leggings and tops are moulded on the doll, which limits articulation. I remember the best part about a doll, was changing the outfits and playing with the hair. The problem is that Mattel doesn't understand that if they keep going like this, Ever After High is not going to do well. Also, there is basic dolls. They are dolls with moulded tops, sometimes shoes, and the only piece of fabric there is, is a cheap fabric skirt. Blue Duckie talks about this whole topic really well. Check her out.
