Dear Mattel and Barbie,

We are asking Mattel to create an official Shakira Barbie collector doll inspired by her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.

This is more than a request for another celebrity doll. Shakira has reached a major milestone in her career, and the tour provides the perfect moment for Barbie to commemorate it.

The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour was confirmed by Billboard as the highest-grossing Hispanic tour of all time, generating $421.6 million and reaching more than 3.3 million attendees. It became a landmark achievement in Latin music and another defining chapter in Shakira's career.

Now, we believe that achievement deserves a collectible Barbie.

The doll could be inspired by Shakira's tour styling, incorporating the distinctive fashion, hair, accessories and visual identity associated with the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran era. It could be released as a Barbie Signature collector edition for longtime fans, collectors and a new generation discovering Shakira's music.

This would also build on history: Mattel has previously released an official Shakira doll. The idea is not without precedent.
