Our fight against COVID-19 is only just about to begin.

We are expecting our under-resourced NHS to cope with this crisis as best as possible with severely limited resources in staffing, equipment and protective measures. 

The lack of these resources is being highlighted on a daily basis. This is going to result in unnecessary stress and infection to these dedicated people.

The weight of responsibility being carried by these people cannot be ignored any longer. They deserve every bit of support the public can give them at this time.

Get them their protection now. No waiting.

We should be extremely proud and grateful that our NHS are prepared to fight what is essentially a war on all our behalves.

Are we going to allow them to be sent  into battle without any armour is my question?

The impact on my family personally, is a high one. My wife is an ICU Nurse who is going to be at the frontline with ALL her colleagues from different areas of the health service..Families waiting with the hope this can be done without excessive risk to them and loved ones at home.

Please don't leave them to go it alone.
