Following Russi Taylor’s death a couple of days ago, her characters from The Simpsons soon are to be retired from the show, since the show doesn’t do recastings. Martin Prince shall be missed, as will the twins Sherri & Terri, not to mention Uter the German Exchange Student.

As for Characters voiced by those still alive, they don’t need to be retired as long as their VAs are still with us, especially those iconic like Apu. Happy 30th Anniversary to The Simpsons either way, glad the show came this far, sorry not all characters in the show like Edna Krabappel and Manjula are still with us.
