We, the iRacing NASCAR community, would like to ask you to reconsider the proposed changes you have made to the "Nascar iRacing Series" for 2017. 

For the past few years, the "NiS" Open and Fixed series have been very popular with the oval community. The limited amount of races each week made each race mean something. The large fields and long races were unique features to the series that made them very enjoyable to participate in weekly. Thus, we would like to have OUR series back and propose the following series:

Nascar iRacing Series 2017 

• 36 race season mimicking the 2017 Monster Energy Nascar Cup Schedule
• 40 car fields (this is very crucial to properly utilize the dynamic track)
• 2 series: Open and Fixed
• 4-5 races per week (see below)
• Same race distances as our 2016 season 

Fixed Series:
• Wednesday 21:00 GMT (Wednesday 4:00pm est)
• Friday 2:00 GMT (Thursday 9:00pm est)
• Saturday 10:00 GMT (Saturday 5:00am est)
• Saturday 17:00 GMT (Saturday 12:00pm est)
• Monday 2:00 GMT (Sunday 9:00pm est)

Open Series:
• Thursday 2:00 GMT (Wednesday 9:00pm est)
• Thursday 19:00 GMT (Thursday 2:00pm est)
• Saturday 2:00 GMT (Friday 9:00pm est)
• Sunday 15:00 GMT (Sunday 10:00am est)
