Kentucky is statistically the very last state in enforcement of animal abuse laws. Sadly, my little chihuahua is apart of that statistic. Feb 17th 2016 my 4yo chihuahua, Vader, was shot on my property. Twice. I called all 3 of my local police departments and was told " this happens all the time. Theres nothing we can do." I know which neighbor did it. Police wouldnt even let me file a complaint. No investigation. Noone came to make sure my family was safe. Nothing. This has to change!!! Tell Gov. Matt Bevin that selfie contests on Twitter can wait. Animal abuse needs to be taken seriously and people need to be held accountable!
