To everyone involved in the education system of the Maltese Islands,

I would like to circulate this petition in order to ask a very important question to the people in charge at MATSEC - why aren't students allowed to view the original booklet upon which they wrote their relevant answers? After all, the student has a right to view his/her booklet considering that the content is by all rights a product of his/her study. Not only are students unable to view the actual correction and marking assigned on their original work, but upon asking for a Revision of Paper all one gets is a couple of sentences condescendingly explaining that no, you will not get a change of grade because if that does happen you'll get a refund (and we all know a private entity relies mostly on its own income and therefore it is very unlikely they'll budge to give you your money back).

Therefore, the point of this petition is to coerce MATSEC into providing the original booklet when a student requests a Revision of Paper. There is literally no reason to not do this if everything is regulated properly and there is nothing to hide in the correction procedure. It's utterly unacceptable that all one gets for €45 is a verification of the hostile design of the educational system in this country. Let's change this, together!
