Make S.O.K non compulsory.

Make S.O.K non compulsory.
The Issue
Systems of Knowledge is in it's core a generalisation of various topics condensed into a small subject.
It skims over the most important points and is usually about memorising art work, methods and overall repeating the same argument over and over.
The topics are Democracy, Art, Science and technology and Environment.
In Malta we're the only country who actually has this subject in their syllabus and as a consequence it will be of no use anywhere outside of Malta.
The thing is, you've not only made it compulsory for us to waste 2 years on this subject, but also we have to present a 20 hour project. If we fail S.O.K we would not be admitted into Malta's only public university which to me is ridiculous.
All in all systems of knowledge is a very petty subject, whilst it might teach us some values about certain things I can assure you that, I at least have already forgotten 60 % of what I memorised.
Making S.O.K a non-compulsory subject allows students to focus on more important exams and not waste their time during the year learning a useless topic which will never be used again.
