I am writing to formally express my deep concern regarding the Mathematics Board Examination 2026. I prepared with complete sincerity, studying tirelessly day and night, sacrificing rest, and thoroughly practicing from NCERT, exemplar problems, sample papers, and previous years’ question papers. I invested my full effort with dedication and discipline.

However, the actual examination paper was unexpectedly challenging and exceeded the reasonable standard of a Class 10 board exam. Certain questions appeared comparable to IIT-JEE preparation level or Class 11 concepts. Board examinations are intended to assess understanding of the prescribed Class 10 syllabus, not to reflect competitive examination-level complexity.

The paper was lengthy, conceptually demanding, and mentally draining. Despite thorough preparation, I struggled with time management and experienced a considerable loss of confidence during the exam. It was deeply discouraging after months of hard work.

I respectfully request the Board to award fair and good marks through lenient evaluation, grant grace marks where justified, and ensure that future Mathematics papers strictly adhere to the Class 10 syllabus with a balanced difficulty level rather than resembling IIT-JEE or Class 11 standards. I sincerely hope students’ hard work, mental pressure, and academic future are taken into thoughtful consideration during evaluation.
