Victory! Maternity Ward will be upgraded - promises made by both parties in SA Election

I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to each an every one of you for supporting my petition to upgrade the Maternity Ward at Murray Bridge Hospital.  

Together, we secured election commitments from both major parties for the upgrade - amazing we can achieve that in a couple of months, when the sitting MP has been in the role for 20 years.  

We have proven, without a shadow of a doubt, that Independent politics work and that being a marginal seat matters.  Safe seats get left behind. This election, don’t reward the major parties.

This is a starting point not an end point. There is a lot of work to do. If I’m elected, I will not only hold Labor to their promises but will work to address the many overlooked issues right across Hammond.

Early voting starts tomorrow (Sat 14th March) at The Square, 2 South Terrace, Murray Bridge, from 8.00 am until 6.00 pm. Then continues, Monday 16th March to Friday 20th March, 8.00 am – 6.00 pm (until 8.00 pm on Thursday). You don’t need a reason to vote early. You can also update your details or enrol and vote on the day.

Election day itself is on Saturday 21 March, 8.00 am – 6.00 pm at the High School, North School, Basketball Stadium and Church on Thomas St.
