Earlier today, Buzzfeed reporter Katie Baker released an investigative article uncovering more than 180 reports of sexual assaults at Massage Envy locations across the country. 180 REPORTED assaults. This is an epidemic. My story was included in Baker’s piece along with numerous other women who are speaking out to demand that the corporation put in place better policies to protect its clients. This is the tipping point. This is the first time that Massage Envy corporation is being held accountable on a national stage for their inaction, and we need to make it count. Tomorrow morning I’ll be on Good Morning America and the Today Show to talk about my experience and our effort to send a message that simply paying lip service to addressing sexual assault will no longer be tolerated. I’ll be speaking on behalf of the 50,000+ people who are calling on the corporation to do better. Let’s grow that number and use our collective power to get Massage Envy’s attention!
