Unfortunately, in recent years, a mentality that sees stray animals as dirty and sinful in Turkey has engaged in black propaganda to "cleanse" the animals from the streets. With the law that came after this three-year media propaganda, Turkey has turned into a bloodbath. Animals are being cruelly collected from the streets and put into shelters that are like death camps. Animals that remain on the streets are being poisoned, shot and slaughtered every day. This situation seriously violates the rights of animals, especially the right to life. Therefore, we are calling on the authorities to end this cruelty towards stray animals. We demand that animal rights be respected, that the killing of animals be stopped and that crimes committed against them not go unpunished.
