The Problem:

Massachusetts sports bettors continue to be driven out of state if they want to legally bet on sports. While inconvenient, that’s not the major problem. The major issue is actually that we’re losing the revenue on something most state officials agree should be legalized. For some reason, the state still can’t seem to move this process forward. 

With hours of testimony and over 20 potential bills, this issue needs to have the time and process invested into it. Many would argue it’s a matter of when and not if, but if that’s the case, the state should be driving to complete this process and bring in the additional revenue stream.
