The Cage Gym will be taken away for a new "basketball" facility only open to those on the D1 team. While it is not being used, the facility will remain locked and unusable by students. The teams only practice for about 3 hours a day during season, so it will be a waste of space. Club and recreational sports will be drastically effected by this change. Athletics is taking away STUDENT space that we fund with our tuition. Athletics claims that "no one" uses that gym, which is an entirely false statement. It has been approved by the university with little to no funding. Help us save the Cage Gym!
