I am fully aware that Masahiro Sakurai has stated that all five of the unknown DLC fighters are set in stone and have already been decided on. However, there is even more of a reason for me to believe that Krystal still has a chance of becoming a playable character in Ultimate.

Just shy of two months after I started this petition, we have learned that Rathalos from Monster Hunter is both an Assist Trophy and a boss character. Just recently, we have learned that Pair Up is still Robin’s Final Smash in Ultimate. Chrom still helps Robin during his/her Final Smash and he also appears in some of Robin’s victory poses, despite Chrom being a playable character this time around.

Adding these two arguments to my Riki and Croagunk arguments (see the last paragraph of this petition) quite possibly makes Krystal’s chances of being both an Assist Trophy and a playable character a lot higher. Even if Krystal could only make it in by having her moveset be a semi-clone of Fox while borrowing some moves from Zelda, I would be super happy. Please, continue to spread the word of this petition. I could still use this petition if another Smash game were ever to succeed Ultimate.
