To Start an Animal Offenders List, Just like we have for Sex Offenders.

Dog finally finds justice in horrific torture by her owner. But will short term jail-time be enough to stop that man from doing this again?

Above is one of many cases I've come across on the internet about owners, or even random citizens stealing dogs, torturing, mistreating, using them in animal fights for money, and even in some cases, animals being raped by their owners. It is a wonderful moment when these disgusting citizens get caught and arrested, yet is the jail time good enough? Personally, I do not think so. Once released, those people are still able to buy or be given pets through general citizens who cannot do the same type of background check as a shelter or facility can. So that's why I am here, writing to you in hopes you will support my goal in getting this petition, to start an Animal Offenders List, passed and finalized as a law across the United States. I am starting it here in Maryland, but I want to see it end across the world as a common law. An Animal Offenders List is generally the same as what we have for registered sex offenders, once they're charged or caught abusing animals in any type of way, they have to be registered to the website where it's an easy general website for the public with the list of names, crimes they've committed towards animals and what tier they range in, so that we can get on our devices to check and make sure our pets are going to a truly safe person, because in all honesty, we would never be able to know unless we have an Animal Offenders List. I truly believe in my heart and soul that this could be a great start to an amazing change in our state, and across the United States. United States is a strong country, and I know we can do this. These animals, these helpless souls, they put their trust on us and they deserve our help, so this is where it can start. Thank you for taking your time to read and listen to my voice, for not only our animals, but our citizens.
