http://www.cbc.ca/1.3577643​ http://www.cbc.ca/player/play/686433347740/ Canada brings in at least 30,000 migrant workers per year from all over the world but most come from Jamaica and mexico, every year workers are injured or die on the job due to various working conditions, recently a Jamaican worker named Sheldon Mackenzie died due to his injuries but before death was going to be sent home until his cousin stepped in, this is not the only case there are and were many Sheldon's. Employers get to dispose of their migrant workers like trash once injured on the JOB or die and the Canadian and Jamaican governments allow it. Well today is the day we are gonna take the steps to end this inhumane treatment of migrant workers to protect them and their families. With your signatures I will be going to the MP and other law makers to get these laws and procedures changed. My husband was a migrant worker and I couldn't imagine how I would feel if this happened to him. With this petition we can help change the laws that allow this abuse to happen.
