Today, Dean Miller posted an apology letter directly responding to the points in this petition: http://yalecollege.yale.edu/content/open-letter-yale-community-dean-mary-miller In the letter, she admitted that the university erred in its handling of the situation, and that it could have been more patient. She also committed to reviewing relevant policies, as well as the appropriate response when policies are violated. We thank Dean Miller for her willingness to admit fault. We hope this is just the beginning of a productive conversation about how to improve tech culture at Yale. Thank you all for the support!
