Bristol City Council wants to pedestrianise St Marks Road between Henrietta Street & Berwick Road.

If they do, Bristol Sweet Mart & Pak Butchers will not be able to work and will move. That would be the end of St Marks Road. The shops would become rented flats, and pedestrianised space would be useless.

Instead, the Council should use the money to improve the Road; fix the pavements; signpost the best High Street in Britain; help the businesses and community that organised the Grand Iftar - not kill it. Sign here to have the Council work with St Marks Road, not against it.
