Harvest Moon was one of my favourite childhood games, as it was for a lot of people.

One of my favourite games was Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life for the gamecube. Both the graphics and the story were amazing. I want to bring that back but this time to the Nintendo Switch. Story of Seasons: A wonderful Life. What we want:

• New and improved graphics. The same style but smoother and improved.
• The same feel of a real open world with no loading screens.
• New and improved characters.
• Improved sounds such as walking, horse riding, nature sounds etc.
• Some old familiar faces with new interesting dialogue and some new characters.
• More to do after marriage.
• More story.
• More generations of kids to come after the already existing characters.
• And much more-

But why not Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life for the Nintendo Switch? 

For those who do not know Harvest Moon is a Japanese game named Bokujō Monogatari (Farm Story) that is produced by  Victor Interactive Software (Marvelous).

From 1996/1997 till 2013/2014 the localisation, the people encharge of bringing it to the USA and the rest of the world, of the game was done by Natsume. After this Xseed took over.

This means that Natsume had nothing to do with is game, a part from translation and a few other minor things. They did not make this game. None of the ideas were theres. They do, however, own the rights to the name Harvest Moon. They have continued to release games under this name due to it's popularity but none, as of now, have been a success.

Xseed have now changed the name of the game to Story of Seasons due to Natsume owning the rights of the name Harvest Moon and the legal reasons behind it.

Will you help me to bring back a joyful memory back by signing this petition? We need to let Marvelous know what this players want. They done it for Friends of Mineral Town, so why not for A Wonderful Life?
