Hi everyone! Thanks again for all the support this petition has been receiving!

I'd like to share that the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer was released earlier this week (though I'm sure most of you have already watched it)! In the trailer, Peter is distraught, mourning over Tony in multiple settings. This clearly shows how strong Tony and Peter's relationship was before the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame if Tony's death will be affecting Peter so much in the coming movie.

In addition to that development, Robert Downey Jr. posted a video on his Instagram a couple of hours ago that shows an alternate take of Tony and Peter's reunion at the end of Avengers: Endgame where Tony actually kisses Peter on the cheek out of fatherly love. Even though that scene wasn't officially included in the movie, it's definitely canon now more than ever that Tony Stark was a father figure to Peter Parker and that they both cared about each other deeply. I feel cheated out of the happy 2 years they spent together between Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War, and so should you. 

I know that petitions like this one have been getting backlash because people say "RDJ wants to be done, leave him alone" (which is honestly ridiculous because RDJ lives and breathes Iron Man, why would he not reprise his role if given the chance to?) and that "Iron Man is dead, get over it", but there is nothing at all wrong or selfish with wanting to see more of Tony Stark. I believe that a TV show that takes place earlier in the MCU timeline would be the perfect solution because it would give us fans the opportunity to see Tony again in a new exciting way without taking away any weight from the sacrifice that he made at the end of Avengers: Endgame.
