Problem
Recently Netflix who has been the distributor for several Marvel television shows such as: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders & The Punisher has started to cancel these shows. Defenders, Iron Fist, Luke Cage & Daredevil have been the first 4 shows to be axed meaning that Jessica Jones & The Punisher are not far behind. Each show that has been cancelled so far have all ended on cliffhangers & many fans like myself are extremely disappointed with how Netflix have suddenly ended these shows. Since Disney’s announcement of it’s own streaming service Disney+ & the sudden cancellation of the Netflix Marvel shows, it’s possible that Netflix is doing this so it will no longer support the competition as Marvel is owned by Disney.
Solution
No one can blame Netflix for it’s decision, but fans of these shows want to see them continue for many seasons to come. And since the acquisition of 20th Century Fox’s assets, Disney have officially announced their own streaming service & they now own most of Hulu which also distributs 2 Marvel shows Runaways & Cloak & Dagger, they have the perfect opportunity to bring the Netflix Marvel shows to either of these streaming services. But there’s a strong possibility of this not happening & the shows being rebooted. Fans don’t want this to happen & neither do I, which is why I started this petition, so us fans can let Disney & Marvel know we want these shows to continue & to bring them back on one of their streaming services. Please sign if you’re a fan of any of these shows so we can see more of them.
