In 1964, writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko created Max Dillon/Electro for "The Amazing Spider-Man" monthly comic series.  Since then, Electro has been one of Spider-Man's oldest enemies, often teaming up with the villainous Doctor Octopus in his Sinister Six team or with other super-villain teams like the Frightful Four and the Emissaries of Evil.  He has also been an enemy of other Marvel super-heroes like Daredevil, Captain America and the Fantastic Four.

However, during "The Clone Conspiracy" story-line by writer Dan Slott, Max Dillon was killed off and replaced by a clone of his friend Francine Frye, who Dillon accidentally killed by electrocution.  While Marvel currently has been using the new female Electro in the monthly Spider-Man comics, we, the fans, miss the original Electro and hope to see Max Dillon resurrected, get his powers back, and wear his classic costume and mask again.

Max Dillon/Electro is one of Spider-Man's oldest and one of his most iconic enemies and we would like to see the character resurrected and back in the monthly Spider-Man comics.  If Marvel Comics can have Lady Octopus and Doctor Octopus both appear in their monthly comics, we, the fans, feel that Marvel can have two Electros as well.
