A Man-Thing film was released in 2005, it had mixed opinions and reviews. But, it wasn't an American film, and it didn't show Man Thing for what he really is in the comics. In this film he is shown as the antagonist, and a film need to be made showing him as the confused protagonist he really is. He is mentioned several times within MCU films and television series', but he hasn't yet been seen. Also it is Captain America's serum that makes Man Thing what he is. As well as this the cast of the 2005 film were characters that never even appeared in comics and had no real relation to the comics, so a remake would be able to fix the reputation left by this film.
