I've recently purchased a subscription to Marvel Unlimited and found how disappointingly broken the web experience is for viewing comics.  As my phone is a Windows-based Nokia and my primary tablet is a Surface 2, my options for viewing these comics is limited to the web browser.  I've found that regardless my system or browser, the experience of trying to view these comics is clunky, broken, and unpleasant.

I know I'm not the only primarily Windows based individual out there - and the Windows platform has a huge market share in home computing.  While the Windows Phone mobile platform may not have a large market share percentage wise, there are still a large number of users and potential subscribers who would benefit from having a Marvel Unlimited app on their Windows Phone devices.  And with the advent of universal apps, applications developed for Windows 8.1 can be easily refitted and published on Windows Phone 8.1.

There are millions of users out there who would love the opportunity to read their Marvel comics from their Windows and Windows Phone devices.  Unfortunately, with the website as it is and the disappointing lack of a Marvel Unlimited app on the Windows and Windows Phone stores, that's not entirely possible, or even enjoyable.  Publishing a comic reader application on Windows platforms will not only improve the experience of the Windows-based Unlimited subscribers that already exist, but will help to encourage even more Windows users to subscribe - especially if they were otherwise unaware of the service.  Disney and Marvel have developed and released several applications on both Windows and Windows Phone - not having a Marvel Unlimited app on either platform is doing a huge disservice to their fans.
