Animal testing for household cleaning products is still allowed in the European Union.

Cruelty free companies like The Co-operative, Marks and Spencer, Waitrose, Ecover, method, and Bio-D have proven it is possible to make household products without testing on animals.

Yet across Europe animals including rabbits, hamsters, rats and mice continue to suffer and die in tests for the ingredients that go into everyday household products such as washing up liquid, air fresheners and dishwasher tablets.

We successfully campaigned for an EU ban on testing cosmetics on animals, now let’s make household products cruelty free.
