Martha Cecilia: Respect Literature. Stop plagiarizing English Books!

The Issue

Literature is considered as the most tangible manifestation of one's fictitious or non-fictitious imagination.
In the Philippines the most prominent form of Philippine Literature are the Romance novels. Many individuals from all walks of life read and buy these books for leisure. It has become a habit for them while some treat reading these books as a form of stress reliever. Therefore, the Philippine literature (in all of its academic sense) should remain sanctified and free from plagiarism. Martha Cecilia's act of plagiarism not only tarnished the Filipino Romance Literature but it also raised a significant no. of questions attacking the integrity and credibility of other Filipino Romance Novelists.
