"CBS Sunday Morning produced this wonderful segment on a Secret Santa who surprised residents on a Native American reservation with gifts of one hundred dollar bills. He also lifted the resident's spirits by letting them know what wonderful human beings they were.
Here's one statement that he made that stood out to me: "Whether you're Native American, African American, Christian American, Left American, Right American...Kindness is the common language between us all.."
Kindness and a love for humanity IS the driving force in Marsha's life. She believes in the inherent goodness of people...which is why she is SO deserving of this honor. THAT would be a Christmas MIRACLE! Why is it so hard to get this to President Biden? Many have tried.. I'm keeping the faith it will happen...
The one Senator's office that we are dealing with told me that we need to get support from other government officials. He gave me the email address for Nancy Pelosi's chief of staff. If anyone has an email contact for Dr. Jill Biden's office, please let me know..thanks ...
As I see it ( and we told this staffer..We need the Senator to pick up the phone and call Joe Biden- it's that simple! There are no committees or application forms for this honor- it is given at the whim of the President!

I visited Marsha at her home yesterday. She was in wonderful spirits. We discussed many of her favorite topics.. growing up in NYC in the 1930's, her love for the United Nations and we even discussed the Hollywood Blacklist at length. She's doing pretty darn well for being 104 years old!
As I was leaving, she said to me "Is there anything we need to do or that you need to tell me". Her statement kind of stunned me. Back when the documentary came out and we were busy with interviews and press, she often asked me that. Here it is six years later- and she's still waiting to do that next interview or project.
This is her MGM training. Once a movie star and activist, always a movie star and activist. Marsha was always doing interviews and press while doing her activism for almost 7 decades. She wants to be prepared at all times — that’s her training...never be caught off guard!
I told her that felt something "BIG" was going to happen for her but I couldn't tell her exactly what it was because it was a "feeling" I had. She liked that... She's sticking around for this honor..this I know!
