Congratulations to all the couples who are a part of the Whitewood v. Wolf case. Judge John Jones III ruled that Pennsylvania's ban on marriage for same-sex couples is a direct violation of the US Constitution's 14th Amendment. We are not done pushing for this petition. We want to be assured that marriage equality is here to stay. We want to have HB 1686 & SB 719 passed. We want the legislature to send the Governor the bill that clearly puts him on notice. Do not appeal the ruling, Governor. Let Pennsylvania have marriage equality. Governor Christie did it in New Jersey; you can here, Governor.
