On August 15, 2018 in the early morning hours around 1am Jimmy Tyndall and Danny Goins were found murdered at Breeden St. in Bennettsville, South Carolina. Jimmy was found across the road beside a fence shot. Danny was found in someone’s yard shot. What we do know is the gunman shot Jimmy and killed him instantly. Danny was chased through yards and the shooter kept shooting until he caught up with Danny and a bullet was close enough to kill him. Danny was found by one of the home owners that heard the shooting and found Danny lying on the ground, dying in his yard. He called the police. Jimmy was found a few feet away when police arrived on the scene. There is speculation that a car was seen leaving and shots were heard right beforehand, and that the shooter was seen chasing Danny. It is also rumored that the shooter or shooters are known within that area but nobody will talk or come forward. This area is a very rough neighborhood and drugs are very prominent, along with the dealers. The family and friends of both Jimmy and Danny are horrified that there is a murderer(s) walking around. Both did not have a great reputation so we believe that is a reason that this case is not being looked into any further. At the very beginning of this case only 1 news agency reported on this and in that report it had that along with the Sheriffs dept, that SLED was also investigating. The family hasn’t been contacted in months and did not know SLED was even investigating at all, other than that in the beginning SLED had the items that were on both at the time such as their phones, clothes, etc. When contacting the detectives on the case they only say that they do not have evidence. The family wants answers and wants the case to be further investigated than what it has so far. It shouldn’t matter who you were, what you did or who you knew in your life, nobody deserves to be killed by another. God is the only one that has the right to judge us. They were both somebody’s son, brother, nephew, friend, grandchild, and Danny was a father. The pain is excruciating and knowing that nothing has been done is even more upsetting. Their grief is unimaginable and they cannot properly grieve and have the closure they long for until they know that their cases are being taken seriously and in the right hands to get the justice that they need. If the gunman can just carelessly take away 2 lives, then there could be a huge risk that it will happen again. 

Please sign this petition so we can show the Bennettsville Police/Sheriff Dept and the appropriate parties that we want a full investigation to take place and now. We also want a better form of communication with the family between the investigating law enforcement agencies.
