On August 20th, 2019, Armando Llorens, writer and contributing editor of the Daily Kos, made a highly offensive and sexist tweet to Nina Turner, co-chair of the Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign. He has since deleted the tweet, but you can view a screenshot of the tweet here.

This kind of hateful misogyny is disgusting coming from anybody, but coming from a writer and editor for a news organization that claims to be progressive, it is especially unacceptable. The point of this petition is to, ideally, have Mr. Llorens fired or reprimanded. Barring that, a statement from the founder and publisher of the Daily Kos, Markos Moulitsas, explaining why he feels this type of conduct is acceptable from his staff would be the next best thing.
