According to Facebook's community guidelines, hate speech is not allowed on their platform. However, this guideline does not include the Asian community, resulting in users calling Asians "bat eaters" and "chinks" without consequence. On Instagram the user @joe_3045 used both the terms above. When reported, Instagram responded by saying that his comment did not violate their guidelines.

We demand that Facebook makes changes to their policy:
-Referring to Asians as "bat eater" and "dog eater"
-Using the terms "chink" or "gook"
-Referring to COVID-19 as "China Virus"
