I have been "Shadow banned" by Facebook. Facebook's mission statement is "to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected.” The statement focuses on its influential role to make a difference in the clients it serves. First they took away my page titled "Political Junkie News Media" which had a following of over 300,000 people three weeks before the 2018 Midterm elections in the United States, without ever giving me any specific reason as to why I was being penalized. I had been a faithful user of their platform since 2009. After Facebook essentially de-platformed and censored me arbitrarily in October of 2018, I began to rebuild the following that they had taken from me without either provocation or justification. At the height of my page's reach I was providing useful content to millions of people on a page that I spent 8 years cultivating and tirelessly laboring over as if it were a child that I created. I view any and all intellectual property that I shared to people that chose to follow my page's posts as if they were are an extension of my own thoughts and individual sovereignty. In June of 2021 I lost access to my account password which resulted in Facebook deactivating my account. I created a new account but have been targeted and censored beyond what even seems reasonable even by their vague "terms of conditions. My new account has absolutely no "community standards violations" yet they have prohibited me from posting on not just my page "Political Junkie News Media" but have made it to where I am not even allowed to post on my personal account or even react to posts that my friends make. This has caused me many hardships as I am trying to establish business contacts so that I can not only mentor troubled youth. as I am a certified life coach, but has it also hindered my career as a political consultant, social media content manager, and potential political candidate. I urge and implore you to please sign your name to this petition in hopes that not only the elected officials that I wish for this petition to reach will take action to stop a single company from attacking an individual that has done nothing but express opinions that do not align with the agenda of the status quo that big tech firms such as Facebook wish to maintain, but to also allow me to be treated in the same manner as any other user that has agreed to comply with said platform's terms and conditions. To this day I have never been told by Facebook what exactly it is that I have done to receive such impartial treatment. I have built many pages that have resonated with millions of users and I demand to know why I am unable to use the platform in the same way that everyone else is afforded. My personal page, which has not received any "Community standards" violations, is currently restricted and I have not been able to receive a substantiated reason as to why. I'm just a guy from Indiana that has gained popularity for providing political insight to people that all have chosen to follow my page and engage with my posts. This is a slippery slope that is not only akin to modern day "book burning" as my page was initially created to promote a book that I have written titled "Political Junkie: Scathing Indictments of America On the Cusp Of the Mayan Apocalypse" but the punitive actions that Facebook has taken to silence, censor, and suppress not just my intellectual property but my ability to engage in the open. free-market of ideas that they champion has been tethered by harmful and discriminatory bias.

I have hundreds, if not thousands, of individuals that have witnessed me receive this treatment that unfairly impairs and infringes on my ability to continue to earn a living using acquired skills required to promote my literary work and enjoy the reasonable expectations that any other user of the platform may assume. I will provide a timeline of documented content in addition to this original posting that validates my complaints and deprivations that I feel violate the very underpinnings of Facebook's mission statement along with my rights to equal protection of law provided in the United Stated Constitution as proscribed in the 14th Amendment. Thank you in advance for your support in my ongoing battle to protect not just my intellectual property but my personal well-being as this whole ordeal has caused me an exuberant amount of hardship.
