Let dog owners have Facebook profiles under the names of their much loved doggies and stop removing/deleting them! What does it matter if a person wants to have a dogs name and profile? It should be celebrated! It's not the dogs that type! The Facebook doggies are a wonderful way for dog owners to keep in touch in a fun way.  Facebook should concentrate on removing the vile people who continue to post pics of animal and child abuse. You have bullies out there who get to keep their accounts, you get people pretending to be younger in order to talk to kids!!! Everyone knows that when you become friends with a furkid, you will be talking about the daily lives of a furkid, so why punish us when we are not deceiving anyone?

The doggy facebookers are a source of joy to their owners and friends; supportive, funny, loving and kind, just like their dogs, and they raise tens of thousands of pounds for charities and research. They're always there for one another - owners are carried through terrible doggy grief as doggy best friends are lost, and love sharing stories and pictures and the enjoyment of each other's puppies and dogs. FB friends have helped each other through so much, people they would not have met if not for the fur kid profiles. So what harm is being done? FB was designed to bring friends together and to keep in touch - and while they're chatting away, they are looking at all the adverts and making purchases too.

The dog profiles are a happy place that provide a huge amount of support and practical help, and though Facebook doesn't want animal profiles, they bring a great deal more happiness and positivity than the vast majority of human ones, so let people pose as dogs and stop deleting animal profiles!
