Shark nets at the beaches not only kill sharks, but also dolphins and turtles. All shark nets in Western Australia should be removed, as they are killing sea creatures. Whats more, most shark nets don't even go to the bottom of the ocean, so they aren't really offering much protection. 

The chance of a shark attack is extremely low, and it is completely unreasonable to kill innocent sea creatures for the very small chance that a shark attack would occur. Shark nets are currently responsible for the deaths of 500-700 sharks yearly, and it cannot continue. 

Animals who the nets are not intended for like dolphins, turtles and rays have also been killed. It is cruel and unjust to kill so many wonderful sea creatures.
