City Council
On Monday, neighbor John Merz attended the City Council meeting and brought the community's concern to Council's attention. Making them aware of the concern before the topic reaches their agenda is an important step. Thank you, John!
Neighbors Unaware
Did YOU know that townhouses at 68th & Carr were proposed in October, 2015? (The city turned down the proposal at that time due to issues with the proposed density: 49-51 units!)
Did YOU know about the two neighborhood meetings hosted by the developer?
Even today, after the developer has been working on this for six months, numerous neighbors actually have NO IDEA that anything is going on. Those gathering petition signatures are reporting this feedback consistently. If you haven't talked with your neighbors about this, they're probably unaware that anything at all is happening. Take a few minutes on this pleasant day to say hi to your neighbor (and remember that tool you borrowed three months ago).
Current Signature Count
Total: 448. Online: 267. On paper: 181.
Several folks have asked how many signatures we need. There is no minimum or maximum. But every new signature raises the number, strengthening those we already have.
