In light of the Teacher Walkout and being told repeatedly that the State of Oklahoma is unable to meet the requests to increase funding for public education across Oklahoma; we Anna MacDonald Rivera and Brittany Hart, tax paying citizens and registered voters of the State of Oklahoma are petitioning for an audit of the revenue coming into, utilized within, and leaving the State of Oklahoma by the Oklahoma State Auditor and Inspector, in addition to all monetary spending and where funds have been delegated. We are also petitioning for an performance audit of all state agencies. In this petition, we are requesting transparency with the findings to the media and citizens of the State of Oklahoma to ensure all citizens are informed of the results of this audit, to ensure all monetary funds have not been misappropriated; and/or received for one entity and allocated to another.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now and bring to the forefront and vote YES for an audit of revenue coming into, utilized within, and leaving the State of Oklahoma including all monetary spending by the Oklahoma State Auditor and Inspector.

  • The undersigned are requesting an audit of all institutions that are receiving funding from this state as well as institutions that are capable of receiving state funding for the past ten years.  
  • We are requesting an audit of all state expenditures for the past ten years.
  • This audit is to include but not be limited to the appropriations of monetary funds gained through the Oklahoma Lottery in addition to the tribal casinos for the past ten years.
  • We are requesting a detailed audit of state expenditures to include all but not be limited to, government consumption, investment, and transfer payments for the following areas for the past ten years: Health Care, K12 Education, Corrections and Rehab, Transportation, General Government, Legislative, Judicial, and Executive, Natural Resources, Business and Consumer Services, Turnpike Authority, and all other state agencies not listed in the above.
  • In this audit we are requesting a performance audit of all state agencies and entities public and private for the past ten years.
  • We are requesting a detailed audit of state expenditures for the Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) formerly called the Office of State Finance to include all but not be limited to, government consumption, investment, and transfer payments for the past ten years.
  • We are requesting a performance audit of the Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) formerly called the Office of State Finance for the past ten years.
  • We are requesting an audit of the Governor’s offices spending and receiving of state resources for the past ten years.
