Second Amendment sanctuary refers to resolutions adopted by some jurisdictions in the United States to not expend resources to enforce certain gun control measures perceived as violative of the Second Amendment. The resolutions oppose enforcement of universal gun background checks, high capacity magazine bans, assault weapon bans, red flag laws, and more.

Harrison County residents deserve to protect their homes and person in all means necessary. Law abiding citizens should not be stripped of these rights and local police and sheriffs officers should not be forced to strip their citizens of their rights to do so.

In this being said, by signing stated petition, you’re a law abiding citizen that solely expresses the concern of the governments agenda to enforce laws that are against our constitution, and in which you do not want your constitutional rights infringed.

We, the citizens of Harrison County Kentucky, want to become a second amendment sanctuary where we can continue to protect our person, family, loved ones, and possessions, in means necessary up to and including the use and possession of our legally obtained and owned firearm as granted to us in the second amendment.
