Yesterday BAFTA-award winning filmmaker John Pilger joined thousands of other Australians in calling on the Australian government to do ‘a great deal more’ to secure Dad’s release.
It’s truly a testament to Dad’s character, and to his life’s work, that so many well-respected Australians are rushing to his defence.
Please share.

From London, John Pilger writes on 12 September:
"James Ricketson is a fine film-maker and journalist, who has used his work to raise social awareness and to support the victims of the scourge of poverty. His own health is failing in the cramped conditions in which he is being held, and he desperately needs to be bought home to Australia so that he can receive life-saving medical attention. The Australian Government has the responsibility to do a great deal more to help an Australian citizen in urgent humanitarian need. I urge you all, regardless of nationality, to sign and share this petition and to support the freeing of James Ricketson."

A much-adored father and respected humanitarian - he doesn’t deserve to suffer in a Cambodian prison for a crime he didn’t commit.
Dad’s lived a life of giving others a fair-go, fostering Aussie cinema and reaching out to those in need, including me. Doesn’t an exemplary Australian like this deserve more from our government?
