On behalf of the undersigned community members of Mariposa, we extend our support and prayers to the victim and their family members. We hope for a strong recovery and quick justice for the crime.

We are deeply distressed by the hateful act committed against an LGBTQ individual in our sister county. Such an attack is not only a gross violation of human rights, but it also goes against our shared values of compassion, equality, and human dignity. 

We must stand together against bigotry, hatred, and violence. We urge you to show solidarity with the victim, calling for fair justice, and, above all, echoing loudly that hate crimes have no place in our society.
