Okay everybody listen up I have a shocker for everybody at the Fair Board meeting last night it was brought to our attention that Grant County Council wants to do away with 4-H. And the Veterans Affairs out of their building. They want to do cutbacks and take away from our kids that are in 4 H and grandkids that are in 4-H even though Purdue funds Chris Goff and one other person that means the other three that work up there will lose thier jobs and Chris and this other person can not do it on their own and where were they go they will not have an office to work out of and what about our Veterans Affairs I think it's a crying shame what they are doing. We as 4'H leaders and 4 H Fair Board members and 4-h council members, 4-hers past and present need to be at the next Grant County Council meeting and show our support in keeping 4-H around we may not have a fair this summer because of this this is really serious please support our 4-H program and our Veterans Affairs programs Please contact GRANT COUNTY .NET or call 668-8871 and voice your concerns to your Grant council members they are Shane Middlesworth , Mike Scott, Frank Hix, mark Leming, Michael Connor , Tresa Baker , and of course the almighty Jim McWhirt. This helps our young adults from mini 4-H to their tenth year in 4h it helps them to learn whether your city or in the country this is the morals and values how to care for animals how to make things how to bake things it's an awesome program that's been around for over a hundred years
